Welcome back to school!!! I am so excited for this year. I am listing some of the things that student will need to start the year. Any donations would be wonderful.

3. Green, yellow, and red folders.
4. Scissors
5. Glue sticks

November 23-24

There will be NO homework this week.I am asking students to read while on break, at least ten minutes would be great. Hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving!!

October 26-30

This week we will have four pages of math homework, and your spelling words. Please do not forget to fill out your reading calender, if you only have your initials I will still give out credit. Please log in you reading minutes on "road to success" our class in is last place. This week because of the Halloween party, we will have our tests on Thursday instead of Friday. Remember no masks, and they will need to take their costumes off after the parade. Math night is on Thursday, at 6:30!!

Oct. 12-14

A reminder that this will be a short week, so there will be no spelling or homework sent home. You should be receiving more information about "Pumpkin Day" through email, sign up if possible.

October 5-9


Thank you to all those that attended student led conferences. It was wonderful to be able to talk to you and get to know you better, Your support makes such a big difference in your childes education. We are back to regular schedule this week. Make sure that students do their homework, it is their responsibility to bring it back on Friday. Watch your email for pumpkin day. Parents will be able to volunteer in class or by donating supplies to the event.

First Grade

September 28th-October1st

This week is a short week, Thursday being early out day. We will still have spelling words, and three math worksheets. You will be receiving an email about "Grandparent Day" on Tuesday at 9:40. Any family member can attend. If you have not signed up for conferences this week on Wednesday and Thursday, please do so. If you did not receive my email with the link to the sign up sheet, let me know. Please bring your child to the conferences. The book fair will be going on, so do not forget to check that out!

Make sure that you have registered for the road to success program. I sent out an email, if you did not get it please let me know, I will send you the details on how to do sign up.

September 21-15

This week students will have four worksheets for math homework, spelling list, and the September calender to keep track of their reading during the week. Please make sure that if your child is struggling with spelling, that they are going over those words at home. Parents you can check your child grade in all subjects through grade book on the schools website. We go over spelling a lot in class, but some students need a little more practise. Work on ten of the spelling words a day, sometime all thirty at once is too much. If there is any concerns or questions please contact me.
